Thanksgiving Day 5K

I ran my very first 5K this morning in a Thanksgiving Day Feed the Hungry Run. It was very fun, very cold, and very tiring. It was about 17 degrees!
I ran with my two sisters Jeanette and Diana. Diana and I ran together the whole time and Jeanette smoked us both!
Here is us before the race!

And afterwards, where I look very flushed! Need to do some more training before my next one!

Update

We are in Idaho. It is a little bit colder than in Arizona. We have had to buy a coat and other things for Lily while we are here.
I am super excited for Thanksgiving. My sis and I are going to do a 5k in the morning. I think it will be fun, but I am going to freeze my patootie off.
Rob is studying away. We are hoping to to take the test sometime in early December. Then, after Christmas, we are headed back to AZ to get our stuff out of storage, and move to Carlsbad. It should be a good time.

Sidenote----I just went to a craft fair with my mom and my sister. Apparently if you don't have 100 cute bows and headbands for your little girl, you are a crappy mom! Just kidding really...but man, there was probably 20 booths that just had hair bows. My sister Julie is actually good at making some, so we are going to have a bow making day next week so I can put cute little bows on my little lady's head.
Some people's strengths are crafts...I am almost positive that that is not mine.

A new job!

So, we have a job! We got the job in Carlsbad, New Mexico. New Mexico definitely wasn't our first choice of locations, but it has a ton of PROS about this company. The help with student loans is AMAZING, Rob will be able to become a certified hand therapist in 5 years, and it is just a great little town. So, this job will get us to where we want to go!
It is very exciting.
We are headed to Idaho Falls in 1.5 weeks for the holidays and then will move to New Mexico after Christmas. Rob has to study and take the boards, so we decided we would rather be in Idaho Falls for the holidays instead of in our tiny stinky apartment!

TRIP TO CARLSBAD, NM

Here are some pics from our trip to Carlsbad, NM.

Here are some highlights:
Great job opportunity
Beautiful river in Carlsbad
Lily did AWESOME
Met a General Authority in the airport while waiting for our flight out of El Paso

Lowlights:
Flight delayed out of El Paso for 2.5 hours
Lily cried all the way from the Phoenix airport to Cottonwood
