Sunburns, YW, & Baby Clothes

So, I went to the pool on Saturday morning about 10:00am. Rob was doing some stuff with his scouts in the pool since about 9:00. I took my latest Harry Potter book (I am rereading all of them for fun) and decided to read and get a tan. I switched positions while I was out there--I put my feet in the pool, I switched sides of the pool, I laid on a chair, I stood at the side of the pool and read, and when all was said and done I went back to our apartment at about 12:15-12:30ish. So, I had been out there for well over 2 hours. It was only supposed to get up to 90 that day, and this was earlier in the day so it only could have been in the low 80s. I AM SUNBURNED. I have a nice burn outlining exactly where my swimming suit and shorts resided on my body. I am deep dark red sunburned. I think the Arizona sun must be hotter than the sun in other places. So, I guess March in Arizona in the 80s really can fry a person's skin.

I went to the Young Women Broadcast on Saturday night. It was so amazing. It was so good for my spirit to be there. I felt like I learned a lot and remembered what it was like to be 15 and what you are worrying about and trying to do. It also made me want to try harder to be better and be as stalwart and faithful about scriptures, praying, etc. as I was when I was younger. Elder Eyring gave an amazing talk that I absolutely loved. It is so amazing how those Brethren fulfill the callings that are given to them. I always thought Elder Eyring was the young guy--but he definitely isn't the young guy anymore! He actually had a cane he walked to the pulpit with!
We went to a place called the Children's Orchard on Saturday to look for baby clothes. It is a used kids clothing store--but had such nice stuff. We bought the cutest little denim jumper dress that I have ever seen. I am totally in love with it. We also bought like 6 or 7 other little shirts, dresses, etc. all for only $14. It was awesome. Now, I need to not buy any more things until she gets here and we know what we need better.
But, it was just as fun to buy new clothes for Lily as it is to buy new clothes for myself--and baby clothes are a heck of a lot cuter.

That is pretty much it for us. We are doing good. It is starting to get warm again. I am still feeling sick part/most of the time depending on the day. I only made it through Sacrament meeting and part of Sunday school today before I came home and crashed. I will hit 19 weeks this week---almost halfway!

I want to be sunburned, and I am totally jealous! I heard the YW broadcast was good, suprising that PRes. Eyring has a cane, I always think of him as one of the younger guys too! Love baby clothes, espcecially cheap cute ones! In IF there is a place called "Once upon a Child" They have adorable stuff and it's quite the bargain!

Holy stink! Sunburned? Just think of my in Rexburg ... my bike is still in a snow drift! I'm jealous, but I don't think I'd want it to be that hot! That's fun that you got to go the YW session! And don't go thinking Pres Eyring is that old yet. He's using a cane because he broke his ankle in February. Dude, I was practically using a cane when I broke my ankle! He should be off of it soon! I think you should put pictures of prego Sharon on the internet. And also pictures of baby clothes. I want to ooh and aah at them too!
